Our compass points west

A lot has happened since the last post! Rob interviewed at Yantis Acoustical Design an acoustical consulting firm in Seattle and was given a job offer he couldn’t refuse. :) So we will be headed west in July after I finish up work here at Hopkins. Its sure to be a busy time with the wedding, honeymoon, moving, and start of a new job for Rob all within 30 days! We’ll spend part of the week leading up to the wedding looking for apartments.

The transition has already begun as Rob just graduated with his Master of Arts degree last night from the Peabody Institute. The real excitement though was a commencement speech by Quincy Jones.

Congrats on a number of things - least of which having a commencement speech by Q… sure beats Judy O’Bannon.

And I’m sure Rob is stoked to hike every last inch of the northwest…

What a blessing that Rob has a job… and that it is on the West coast. Welcome back!

PS I’ll be praying for you as you make so many transitions at once.
