Wedding Picture Roundup

Hi all! We are in the midst of the big move but wanted to pause long enough to post links to pictures of the wedding. See the links below for pictures (and video) of the wedding thus far. Don’t worry, we’ll get more out and in our photo gallery as things settle down and become available.

  • Preliminary proofs from Tessa Gilbertson of Joyful Moments, our official photographer and former roommate of Jeanesse. You gotta contact her if you need a photographer or photojournalist for a special occasion in the Seattle area.
  • Also read Tessa’s blog entry about us that has a few pictures.
  • Pictures from Dave Wayne, hometown friend of Rob
  • Video from Kyle Kinnaman, college friend of Rob (Don’t get confused…this link is not on our website)

We’ll keep posting as more friends empty their camera memory cards. If you have some you’d like to share, post them online and leave the link in a comment to this post. Or send them to Jeanesse or I at our email addresses and we’ll include them in our gallery.

Thanks! More after the drive to Seattle!

Hi all! Thanks to all of you who attended our wedding in person or on the internet! We understand we had a peak of 21 people watching on the internet. We’re now in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on our honeymoon and the accommodations are wonderful! Earlier today we went ocean kayaking and we are going zip lining tomorrow. We’ll write more when we’re not paying by the hour for internet access! We love you all!

We’ve arrived in Seattle

Jeanesse and I arrived in Seattle on Saturday around 3 pm and by 7 pm we had signed a lease for a condo in Shoreline! This next year (and longer if we choose) we will be living in a small condo with a great view of Echo Lake off of our back porch. We’re a block from a transit center that will get me to work in 25 minutes and Jeanesse in 45 minutes without any transfers. The price we’ll pay is for space, but we both think it will be worth it.

This morning we went to church where we’ll be married. It was my first time there and everyone was very welcoming toward us. I also tested the wireless internet signal in the sanctuary and was glad to see that I had five bars of signal so there should be no problem with the live webcast of the wedding.

These next few days we will be be putting on the finishing touches of the wedding before greeting our guests as they arrive. We look forward to seeing many of you in the coming days. Be forewarned though that the temperature is unlikely to rise above 70 degrees! See you soon!
